We are highly specialized

Løje, Arnesen & Meedom offers highly specialized advice to Danish and foreign clients on Intellectual Property Rights/IPR in the widest sense. Regarding traditional IPR we handle everything, from establishing and prosecution of trademark and design rights to litigation involving infringements of all types of IPR, including copyright and patents, in Denmark, the EU and abroad.

Our other business areas cover i.a. marketing law, unfair competition law, internet law, data protection law, product regulation and commercial agreements such as agent, license and distribution agreements.

We work in teams

We ensure a close and efficient cooperation with our clients by working in client dedicated teams. All teams consist of a partner (Attorney-at-Law) and a group of highly qualified and experienced employees. We understand the challenges facing our clients and solve these by tailoring our services to our clients’ individual situation and needs.

The result is a high level of accessibility and quality with short response time.

When we handle rights and matters abroad we draw on carefully chosen local assistance via our global network of skilled and reliable attorneys.

We want to make a difference

At Løje, Arnesen & Meedom we understand our clients’ situation and needs and go the extra mile to live up to their expectations. Matching of expectations and transparency of all services are important aspects of our daily work.

We strive to provide our customers with a clear and understandable basis for making the right decisions. A good piece of advice is not always a long piece of advice!

By involving us in your thoughts about IPR already from the early idea and strategy stages, we can ensure the optimal protection of your valuable rights.

Mission and goal

Our focus is the customer and our customer’s IPR. Our mission is to increase the value of IPR through optimal implementation of IPR in business plans, corporate strategy, marketing, agreements etc.

We ensure this by seeking information and carefully scrutinizing all options and choices, by rendering clear and understandable advice and recommendations, and through a close cooperation and consultation with our clients on decisions and strategy.

Our goal is advice that is proactive, easily understandable, to the point and result-oriented.

We are dedicated to IPR and to our customers, which include large companies, SMEs as well as new, small start-ups, domestic as well as foreign.

The impact and significance of IPR varies in different lines of business, as well as in different growth and expansion scenarios, and due consideration of IPR should also be taken when dealing with marketing, agreements and regulation of business activities.

To optimize the benefits of IPR, we need to gain a sufficiently broad and deep insight into our customers’ line of business, situation and strategy/plans. We always take time to visit our customers and recommend at least one annual audit/review of IPR strategy and portfolio.

World Trademark Review places Løje, Arnesen & Meedom at Silver level.

"The first independent IP boutique in Denmark, Løje Arnesen & Meedom blazed a trial for holistic services in this area. It remains strong on both sides of the contentious/non-contentious divide and stays true to its founding principles and core values: uniquely tailored service for each client – however big or small – a round-the-clock availability and a laser focus on business objectives. As a result, its client roster has only expanded; the applied arts is emerging as one area it has a lock on. Counsel for the Danish Designers Association, the “knowledgeable and commercially pragmatic” Johan Løje has played a big part in this growth. He and Tanya Meedom are savvy litigators with plenty of courtroom experience behind them. “Meedom is one of the best lawyers in Denmark – she is sharp, creative, thorough, proactive, versatile and cost-effective.” Someone else with a legion of loyal fans is Susie Arnesen, who recently flexed her muscles representing Zelected Foods on a trademark and domain name matter. “She’s a leading trademark professional in every sense – good at the registration process, at negotiating settlements and at executing enforcement strategies. Clients greatly appreciate her thoughtfulness, reliability and dedication.”"

Furthermore, Johan Løje  is mentioned as one of the leading litigators in Denmark Danmark (GOLD), whereas Tanya Meedom is placed in the SILVER category. Susie P. Arnesen is mentioned in the WTR 1000 list of leading individuals for Strategy and Prosecution.
